Short, because we collect almost nothing.

What we collect

• Anonymous page counts, the page you visited, and the domain name only of the site you came from. We keep the domain and nothing else from that link: not the rest of the address, not the part after the question mark, not anything a personal link might carry in it. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers.
• Your email, only if you give it, and only to send what you asked for. There is exactly one place on this site that asks for it, the deadline reminder box, and it is described below.

Health information

We do not ask for, collect, or store any information about your health, your diagnosis, your claim, or your insurer. The deadline calculator runs entirely in your browser, the date you type is never sent to us.

The question at the foot of every page

Every page ends with one question: what did you come here to find out? If you answer it, three things are stored, the words you typed, the page you were on, and the time. No name, no email, no IP address, nothing about your browser or device, and nothing that could link two answers to the same person. Answers are kept for four months and then deleted automatically; nobody has to ask. If you want yours deleted sooner, email hello@getaxionlabs.com and quote the text you sent, because the text is the only thing we hold that can find it. The box is read by one person and is not used for advertising, profiling, or anything else.

The flood limit, said plainly. To stop floods, an irreversible hash of your connecting IP address is worked out inside the request itself and handed to a counter that lives in Cloudflare. The address is never stored, the hash is never stored, and neither one is written into the answer we keep. The same counter, under its own separate budget, limits the anonymous page count described above, so reading pages and answering the question can never use up each other’s allowance.

Third-party scripts: there are none

No third-party script runs on any page of this site. Not an analytics tag, not an advertising pixel, not a social button, not a font loaded from somebody else's server, and, since September 9, 2026, not Google's Subscribe-with-Google publisher script either, that one used to load on every page here and it was removed for this reason. Every page on this site carries health text, and a third-party tag on a page like that is a disclosure of health information to whoever owns the tag. The site's own Content-Security-Policy allows scripts from this domain and nothing else, so the promise is enforced by the browser and not only by us. It is machine-tested on every page before each deploy.

The one optional email: the deadline reminder

The deadline calculator and the appeal-letter generator each offer one tick-box, after they have worked out your dates, that says: email me once, three days before that date. It is off unless you tick it, nothing on this site is gated behind it, and it is the only place we ask for an address.

What is stored if you tick it, and it is the whole record: your email address, that one calendar date, the page you set it on, and a random reference we use for the deletion link. Nothing else, not your name, not your claim, not your insurer, not your diagnosis, not the denial reason you picked, not the date printed on your notice. Those never leave your device at all.

What it sends: one email, three days before that date, and then nothing. There is no list, no newsletter and no follow-up; the reminder cannot produce a second email. That email carries a one-click link that deletes the record rather than flagging it, and the link carries only the random reference, so your address never appears in a web address, a server log or a referrer. You can also just email hello@getaxionlabs.com and we will delete it by hand.

The tools: nothing you type is stored

The deadline calculator, the appeal-letter generator and the date tool on every page run entirely in your browser. The date on your notice, who pays your claims, the state you pick, the denial reason and the finished letter are assembled on your own device and are never sent to us and never stored, there is no form on those pages that posts anywhere. Where one page hands your answers to another, it does it in the part of the address after the # symbol, which browsers never transmit to a server. The one exception is the optional deadline reminder, which is a box you have to tick and which is described in full in the section directly above: it stores your address, one calendar date and the page you set it on, and nothing else.

What we never do

• Sell or share personal data.
• Run advertising trackers.
• Run any third-party script at all.
• Ask for, collect or store anything about your health, your diagnosis or your claim.
• Require an account to read anything.
