WISeR appeal kit: what it would hold
The free route on the WISeR page is complete. This page describes a paid kit ($29) for people who want the paperwork put together.
Which deadline am I on? Free
For Original Medicare. It runs entirely in your browser; the date you type is never sent to us and never stored. Your own notice prints its deadline, and the notice wins.
What it would hold
- Your date sheet: the last day for each appeal level, counted from the date on your notice.
- The first level runs 120 days from receipt of the Medicare Summary Notice, with receipt presumed 5 calendar days after its date (CMS).
- A redetermination letter built from the lines on your Medicare Summary Notice, with every field CMS lists for a written request.
- Your doctor's checklist: the records the CMS operational guide, version 7.0, lists for your service.
- An ABN page: what Option 1 and Option 2 do to your right to appeal.
- If the first answer is no, the second-level letter to the Qualified Independent Contractor.
- The contractor generally answers the first level within 60 days (CMS).
Not on sale in October 2026. We build the paid version only when enough people ask for it; the count started in October 2026. Nothing on the free pages is held back for buyers. The 120-day route there is enough to file your appeal today.

This page describes the WISeR model and the Original Medicare appeal process as CMS and Medicare.gov publish them, read in October 2026. It is not legal or medical advice, it does not say whether your treatment should be covered, and no outcome is guaranteed. Your Medicare Summary Notice and any decision letter govern your case and print your deadlines. Free help: your State Health Insurance Assistance Program, or 1-800-MEDICARE.
